How to Manage Multiple Blogs for Increased Traffic

Multiple blogs are perfect for getting increased traffic and page ranking. How can multiple blogs increase your website traffic? If you have 10 'dofollow' blogs and link them together, each time you write a new blog post, all blogs will benefit and become indexed in the search engines. In some cases, if you link to a sales page on all of the blogs, you can get triple or 20 times the traffic than you would with one blog. Here are some tips on managing multiple blogs:

Use different blogging platforms- Using the same blogging platform will cause your blog to get deleted or "ghosted" from the search engines. I had to find this out the hard way when I created 10 blogs using Blogspot (blogger) in one day. After social bookmarking all of the blogs, I checked the next day to see if they were indexed. Much to my surprise, they were not! Google has been trying to cut back on splogs and spam in their system, but they are taking down good writers and bloggers in the process. To avoid this problem, you can do two things; use multiple blogging platforms (wordpress, blogger, blogs.se) or use multiple accounts with a custom proxy site. I find it more easier to just use other blogging platforms than to create a variety of proxy sites, which can take a little time to set up. (The free ones online don't work).

Re-write the same articles- One of your biggest challenges when managing multiple blogs will be providing content for all of them. The worst thing you could do is let your blog die out. So, instead of searching for new topics online, you could re-write the same article 10-20 times. This takes less time and will save you money and from the duplicate content penalty that Google is now enforcing.

Use a variety of Templates- having more templates for your website can prove to be more beneficial than bad. You should spice up your content, even in the re-writing process. You don't have to worry too much about this method when using different blogging platforms, but it is something to consider if all of your blogs with be on Wordpress or Blogger (blogspot).

Having multiple blogs can be hard work, but it is not impossible. Remember to brush up on your writing skills and participate in social bookmarking and pinging for more traffic and higher search engine rankings.
