Let it cool for sometime and add a teaspoon of isopropyl alcohol or rubbing alcohol in it. Strain the liquid using a cheesecloth to remove lemon pieces and other debris. Fill the mixture in a spray bottle and there you have your hairspray ready! Store the spray in a refrigerator to prevent from spoilage and use it whenever necessary.

Ingredients
- Orange - 1
- Water - 2 cups
- Lavender oil - 2 drops
This hairspray is best suited for people with dry hair. Cut the orange into wedges and put them into 2 cups of boiling water. Let the water reduce to half the original quantity before getting it off the flame. Let the mix cool down. Strain and add 2 drops of lavender oil in the mixture. Fill the mixture in a fine spray bottle and store it under refrigeration. Once made, use this hairspray within a week for proper styling.
Recipe #3 - Sugar Water Hairspray
Ingredients
- Sugar - 4 teaspoons
- Water - 1 cup
- Rosemary oil - 2 drops
Take one cup of water and bring it to a boil. Turn off the heat and add 4 teaspoons of sugar. Stir continuously to dissolve it completely. When the sugar-water mixture has cooled down, add 2 drops of rosemary oil for imparting a little scent. Always remember to add oils after the mixture has cooled down completely so that, the scent is retained in the liquid. Fill the mixture in a bottle having a mist spray. Apply the spray on hair and wait for around 30 seconds before second application. Make sure not to run your fingers on the hair after the application of spray because it would spoil its effect.

Ingredients
- Flax seeds - 2 tablespoons
- Aloe vera gel - 2 tablespoons
- Glycerin - 1 teaspoon
- Purified Water - 2 cups
Boil flax seeds along with 2 cups of water and wait until the mixture is reduced to half. The mixture becomes a bit sticky due to flax seeds. Let the mixture cool and strain in a spray bottle. Add the mentioned quantity of aloe vera gel and glycerin in the mixture and shake it vigorously. Add purified water if the mixture appears too thick.
