Ingredients
12 fresh or canned tomatoes, 1 onion, 2 garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon basil, 1 tablespoon oregano, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon butter, 1 tablespoon cooking wine (optional), salt and pepper, hot sauce if required.

Preparation
Take out the canned tomatoes and let them dry. After they dry, make a fine paste. Finely chop the garlic and onions. Take a pan and start heating the olive oil. Add the onions and garlic. Cook them for a while on a low flame and add butter. Add the tomato paste when onion is translucent, add salt and pepper. Add (1 tsp) basil and oregano and the cooking wine and cook it for some time. Taste it and add hot sauce if required. If you want to make it thicker add more tomatoes to the paste. Your Salsa sauce is ready to have with chips and snacks.

How to Make Fresh Salsa Sauce

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup white onions, diced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 large clove garlic finely chopped,
  • 4 cups tomatoes, without seeds and finely diced
  • 1/2 jalapeno pepper diced
  • Freshly squeezed lime juice 1 tbsp
  • Salt as per your requirements
Directions
  1. Mix all the ingredients well in a large bowl.
  2. Taste the mixture and add salt and lime juice according to your preference. Serve it fresh with chips or seal it in an air tight container and cool it in the refrigerator for about an hour.
  3. Serve this fresh salsa at a party and add zest to the occasion. Enjoy!

How to Make Hot Salsa

Ingredients
2 tablespoons cooking oil, 1 avocado, 1 onion, 2 tomatillos, 1 jalapeņo, 2 dried red chilly peppers, 3 ripe tomatoes, 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro.

Preparation:
Finely chop the tomatoes, tomatillos, chilly peppers and jalapeņo. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the chopped ingredients; heat it for 5 to 10 minutes on medium flame. Then allow it to cool and put the ingredients in the blender; blend until it becomes smooth. Take it out in a bowl; chop the avocado, onion and cilantro and stir well. Put it in an air tight container and allow it to cool. Serve chilled.

How to Make Salsa with Fresh Tomatoes

Ingredients
  • 3 fresh tomatoes
  • Freshly squeezed lime juice 1
  • 1 Jalapeņo chili pepper
  • 1 serano chili pepper
  • 1 Onion, finely diced
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro
  • salt and pepper to taste
Method
  1. Start by finely chopping the tomatoes; add chillies to them.
  2. Be very careful while handling these hot chillies.
  3. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl; cover it for about an hour and let the flavors mix.
  4. Serve it with tortillas, tacos or burritos and enjoy a great eating. This salsa can also be made with green tomatoes.
Tomato Salsa Verde

Ingredients
  • 4 tomatoes or tomatillos
  • 1 white onion chopped
  • 1 cup cilantro leaves
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 2 Jalapeņo peppers chopped
  • Salt to taste
Method

Place tomatoes or tomatillos, onion cilantro leaves sugar, frsh lime juice, jalapeņo peppers and salt to a blender, and blend until all the ingredients are finely chopped and mixed. Add salt to taste. Cool it in a refrigerator. Served with chips.
