Ingredients
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • ½ red onion
  • ½ ripe tomato
  • 1-2 serrano chiles
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro leaves
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon coarse salt
  • A dash of freshly grated black pepper
Preparation
  • Cut the avocados into two parts.
  • De-seed the avocado and scoop the avocado from the peel.
  • Mash the avocado and add minced onion, finely chopped cilantro, salt and pepper and mash avocado a little more.
  • Cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap, till the guacamole dip is ready.
  • When you are about to serve, add finely chopped tomato to the guacamole dip and serve with tortilla chips, etc.

Ingredients
  • 1 ripe tomato, peeled
  • 2 avocados
  • 1 chopped green chile
  • ½ onion, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons pomegranate seeds
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
Preparation
  • De-seed the avocado and scoop the avocado from the peel.
  • Mash the avocado and ensure there are no chunks in it.
  • Then add finely chopped tomato to the avocado and mash the mixture once again.
  • Now add finely chopped green chile to the mixture and mix well.
  • Vinegar can now be added to the mixture.
  • At last add salt and pepper to guacamole dip and mix well.
  • Just before serving add pomegranate seeds to the dip.
When you are running out of time, but want an easy guacamole dip recipe, then it is best to combine mashed avocados with a quarter cup of salsa. You will not have to add anything to this recipe. Salt may be added according to your taste. If you like you like your guacamole dip a little spicy, then you can increase the quantity of peppers used in the recipe.
