How to Make Frosting from Scratch

Ingredients
- Butter 1 stick
- Milk 2 tablespoons
- Vanilla Extract 1 tablespoon
- Confectioner's Sugar 16 oz
- Soften the butter and place in a large bowl.
- Use an electric mixer and whip the butter till it becomes smooth and creamy.
- Add milk and vanilla extract to the butter and whip till vanilla is well mixed.
- Now add half the quantity of confectioner's sugar and whip till smooth.
- Once it has become smooth, add the remaining sugar and whip again and keep whipping till the frosting is smooth in consistency. Now your frosting is ready to be used.

- Powdered Sugar 2½ cups
- Light Corn Syrup 1 tablespoon
- Softened Butter 1 tablespoon
- Vanilla Extract 1 tablespoon
- Water 2 tablespoons

- Mix sugar, corn syrup, butter, vanilla and water.
- Stir all the ingredients with an electric hand mixer over low-speed, till all the ingredients have become smooth and are mixed well.
- If while mixing you are of the opinion that the frosting is very thick, then you can add water to it, to get it to the desired consistency.
- At last add the color and stir well, so that the color is spread evenly through the frosting.

- Milk 2 cups
- Flour 10 tablespoons
- Granulated Sugar 2¾ cups
- Cream of Tartar 1/8 teaspoon
- Vanilla 1 teaspoon
