How to Make Chocolate Milk Drink

However, this recipe will show you how to make chocolate milk without these ready-mixes.
The time taken for preparation and the making of this recipe is 5 - 10 minutes.
Ingredients
5 teaspoons Sweet Cocoa Powder
2 Cups Ice Cream (Vanilla or Chocolate - as per your choice)
4 Cups Cold Milk
Method of Preparing
Mix the Milk and the Cocoa Powder in a blender for 30 - 40 seconds. Add the Ice Cream and blend for another 20 - 25 seconds.
Your Chocolate Milk drink is ready to serve. Please ensure that you serve this drink chilled.

Ingredients II
1 Small Bar Dark Chocolate (this is the one used for cooking and has no sugar)
1 Cup Powdered Sugar (or more as per your taste)
1 Cup Ice Cream (Vanilla or Chocolate - as you choose)
4 Cups Cold Milk
Method of Preparing II
Take a pot of water and put it to boil. Put another pot in this pot of water and place the bar of cooking chocolate in this pot. Let the chocolate bar melt to form a paste-like consistency. When this happens, add the powdered sugar to the chocolate and keep stirring till the chocolate and the sugar blend.
Add the cold milk to the chocolate mixture and mix in a blender for 20 - 30 seconds. Add the Ice Cream and blend for another 10 - 20 seconds.
If you feel that the drink is not cold enough, you can pour it into the serving glasses and chill.
Your Chocolate Milk is ready to serve.
Garnishing:
You can decorate the chocolate milk with sprigs of mint, or with red cherries.
Variation:
Instead of using the cocoa powder, or the cooking chocolate and the sugar mixture, you can use Liquid Chocolate mixtures which are readily available in the market.
There is also a variation of the chocolate milk drink which is served warm or hot. For that, you can substitute the cold milk with warm milk and serve.
