How to Make a Website

A lot of the people I've met have asked me how to make a website. The answer Is simple and today I'm going to share this answer with you guys.

There are 3 major components to look after and take care of while making a website.

1.You have to buy a domain name.

2.Create the content.

3.Look for hosting.

If your familiar with the above mentioned topics then you shouldn't be here reading this (Winks!) But If your new to this then I'll explain to you how to make your very own website from scratch.

Okay,lets go In a tabular form. i.e from 1-3

Step Number 1

-Buy a Domain.
-Let me give you guys some Insight on what a domain name is.
-A domain name Is your presence on the web,It's basically the name of your website.
-This Is where It all Begin's
-Domain name(s) are not free and have to be bought(registered Is a more appropriate term).
-So domain name's have to registered from domain name registrars.
-The cost of buying a domain name varies due to Its nature.
-A.com domain name costs from 8-10$/year.

4.Namecheap
5.Network solutions
6.Domains.com

However you normally get 1 domain name free when you sign up for hosting.So I would personally not recommend you buying a domain name directly as you get a free domain name when you sign up for hosting. (more on hosting below)

Step Number 2

-Create the content.
-Okay, now what you need to do Is create your content.
-This Is where you come In.You can create content on what ever subject you desire.
-An easy way to do this Is by using website designing software's like.
-Eversoft first page or Microsoft front page.
-You can also use any other software's that you like.
-Eversoft first page and Microsoft front page are good for making simple websites.

You might think making web pages is a difficult task but Its actually pretty simple. A person with limited or no knowledge In programming can also make effective web pages using the above mentioned software's.

Step Number 3 (Final step)

-Get yourself Web hosting
-Okay,now this Is the final and most Important step.
-As I've said earlier that you normally get a free domain name when you buy hosting, so you can skip step number 1 and come the step number 3 after completing 2.
-Web hosting Is extremely Important,Its the base of your website.
-Web hosting Is a place where your website resides on the Internet.

Basic hosting(also known a shared) would be good to start of with. Hosting packages start from 40-80$/year.

Quick review:
Okay, now we'll run a quick review of what we learned right now. First buy a domain name(you can skip this & buy hosting, as you get a domain free with hosting on most cases.) Create the content. And purchase hosting If you've bought a domain name separately.
