• Clear lacquer or spray paint
• Boomerang pattern
• Orbital sander or sanding block
• Scroll saw or coping saw

The Method
The actual process is as follows for making a boomerang which applies to both ancient and modern boomerangs.

Throw 1 - Plying the Plywood
The first thing you have to do is to select a plywood which has a number of ply. Use birch, it is preferred on account of it being light and strong.

Throw 2 - Destination Design
A boomerang pattern will be required for your reference so that you can make the boomerang easily. Once the pattern is made, you will have to trace it on the plywood. Then you will have to use a coping or orbital saw for cutting out the shape you had traced. Make sure that you don't hurt yourself as well as cut the shape properly.
