Oblique Crunches
Oblique crunches is one of my favorite exercises to get rid of love handles, because I have seen the results this oblique exercise has personally given me.
  • Lie on your back and support your neck with your hands.
  • Bend your knees and try to touch the right elbow to the left knee.
  • Hold for 5 seconds and come back to the starting position.
  • Then try to touch the left elbow to the right knee, again hold in the position and come back to the starting position.
  • Do 10 repetitions of this exercise on each of the sides.
  • Once you become comfortable with this exercise, you can increase the number of counts.
V Up
One of the most effective exercise to trim the fat from the obliques as well as the abdominal region is the V Up exercise.
  • Lie back on your mat.
  • Extend your hands in the air, but your head should be in the neutral position.
  • Slowly lift your shoulders off the floor, then contract your abdominal muscles, also raise your legs towards the floor and try to touch your hands to your feet.
  • Hold in the position for a few seconds and return to the starting position to repeat the exercise 10 times.
