How to Loose a Friend in 10 Days on Social Networking Sites

You've read all ten articles about what to do on social networking...well here's a tongue-in-cheek guide helping you lose all your followers!
Many articles have been written about social networking etiquette, what to do and not do to find and keep as many 'friends' as you can. Well, we thought we'd come up with something slightly different and give you tongue-in-cheek tips for losing a friend in 10 days with what not to do.

Please remember this is just a joke and we won't accept any responsibility for you losing all your Twitter followers in one fell swoop!

So here we go, these helpful tips will make you lose friends as fast as you can say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

Continuously try to sell to them.
If you do that several times a day, you probably won't be calling them a friend for long. If you feel really angry or just enjoy torture, you can continue despite their pleas until they just block you or even cancel their own account.

Example: Hey, I thought this link is perfect for you. www.some-spammy-site.com

Don't reply.
Everyone likes a good debate on social networking sites so here's another more subtle option. Never contribute, just lurk and lurk but do not get drawn into any conversations. One thing you have to do is not break the silence, ever.

Everybody hates a bit of spam.
No I'm not talking about the canned stuff. They'd probably just get more attached. If you send them links to random sites or just copy and paste advertisements they will probably get rid of you ASAP.

Annoying chain mails.
Wow, possibly the most annoying thing ever invented. As long as the annoying individual is not a fan, just send them one or two a day or if you're feeling bored spice it up a bit and send them several. They won't like that kind of spice.

Be a sheep.
Follow all the friends that this nuisance of an individual is following and make sure they all know about your special bond. Then proceed to break it. Be as irritating as possible and drop the odd uncomfortable line. No one wants to be associated with a weirdo so victory will be yours. Be aware that your image might take a heavy blow, obviously.

Become a yaari member.
This social networking site is renowned for operating on an international scam basis. You'll just have to make a slight sacrifice. You won't have any friends left afterward. Once you sign up your damned; well in way. Yaari takes your entire address book details and sends scam emails to everyone in it. Fun right?

Just be immensely boring.
So boring that it is physical agony to speak to you. Give one syllable and extremely awkward answers and never ask any questions. This one is sure to drive the other person up a while and further away from you.
