How to Kill a Vampire
Killing a vampire needs a lot of quick wit and cleverness. Read this article to know all about how to kill these cold-blooded creatures.

The most amazing characteristic of vampires is that they have a hypnotic and mesmerizing attraction in them. They can hypnotically control your emotions in the way they speak, your mind follows each and every word they say, your heart believes what they think..., in short, these creatures are highly influential and hypnotic. They survive on blood and are as quick as the wind, strong that you can't hold them with mortal power, and seductive to the extent that you can't imagine! Vampires are almost immortal when it comes to ways to kill them. They can attack you within a blink of the eye and you wouldn't even realize what just happened! Killing a vampire is confined to a few trusted methods, which have been practiced by vampire slayers since vintage times. Let's go through these methods one by one.
Ways to Kill a Vampire
Killing a vampire is not a piece of cake, but a life-threatening risk. These blood sucking creatures can turn from being the victim, to the attacker without any prior alarm! One needs to be very strong, in body, heart and mind; quick, so that you give the vampire no chance to escape and turn the game upside down; and a strong believer in God! A person who has all these qualities is the one chosen to kill a vampire and end its immortality. Following are the ways to kill these undead creatures.
Wooden Stake
The aforementioned quote by Jack Handy clearly states how much the vampires fear the wooden stake! It is a classic tool for killing vampires. A wooden stake is nothing but a piece of wood with one side so sharp that it can easily pierce through the flesh. No doubt, vampires are quick as light and that adds to their advantage, but the key to get it right is to strike the wooden stake right through the heart of the vampire...this is one injury that they can't overcome and end up dying eventually!
Sunlight
I love the movie twilight, but I beg to differ, not all vampires look shimmering hot like Edward Cullen, when exposed to sunlight! (That's one vampire you would never want to kill). Anyhow, now coming back to killing vampires, their origin is traced from the early vintage era. Vampires are known to be the creatures of the dark because they simply can't stand sunlight on their skin! Not because they would shine and the world will know they are different, which is nothing but a myth; but because there skin burns severely when in contact with sunlight!! Make sure you use your tricky qualities to make the vampire stay under the sunlight for at least 10 seconds!
Silver
According to the history of vampires in Greek mythology, Goddess Artemis had cursed the first vampire on earth that whenever it touched silver, the skin burned into ashes. More than killing the vampire, silver is a good way to trap the vampire as they can't take even the slightest touch of silver on them and therefore it's nearly impossible for them to break the trap. Stabbing a vampire with a knife make of pure silver would kill it by deeply burning it's skin and the heart! Being quick and stabbing with a lot of force is the key to hit the right spot!
Fire
Unlike sunlight and silver, vampires are not cursed to fire! Fire only helps slow down the healing process. Therefore, if you are planning to kill a vampire using fire, then you must make sure that the vampire stays surrounded by huge fire blazes for a long period of time, at least for an hour, not allowing the vampire to heal! Therefore you need a large area with the hottest fire blazes ever so that the vampire doesn't recover from the burns.
Behead the Vampire!
That's one classy way of doing it...just like the Cullen's killed James in the movie Twilight! That seemed easy in the movie, but in real life, beheading a vampire isn't a piece of cake! Vampires are dead strong and have equally strong neck muscles. Remember, a human can't behead a vampire with bare hands and will have to take help of some tools...a silver knife would be a good option to cut off the head! This might require a lot of patience and a good source of keeping the vampire's head still. Another option is to ask another vampire to do it for you! How would you convince him...well, just be sure you have a fab reason or a good bribe for the 'other vampire'!! (PS: Don't offer yourself for dinner!!)
Infect the Vampire with the Vampire Disease
There are two types of vampire disease. The most popular one is Porphyric Hemophilia, which when enters into human bloodstream, turns the human into becoming a vampire. The second known vampire disease is Sangue Debolezza, which in Italian means, blood weakness. This vampire disease is extremely rare and it's origin is unknown. But this is undoubtedly one disease that can take a vampire's life! The only thing you need to do, is figure out how you will infect the vampire with this disease!
The Holy Tools
Another powerful method to kill a vampire is to use the great power possessed in holy devices. The Bible, a holy crucifix made of pure silver and holy water, with immense faith in its power; would be another way of killing a vampire! You should do this if you are extremely religious and a strong believer in the power of God. Carrying a crucifix along with you and combining different methods along with this should also be a good option!
So, these were the selected few methods for killing a vampire! It may sound simple but you should never consider your enemy weak. Vampires have tons of advantages against humans and therefore the risk could take your life! Be wise and don't get overconfident and foolish in taking down the vampire all by yourself! Check all your strengths and weaknesses before you take the step ahead. All the best!
