How to Improve Your Digestion Fast

How to enhance digestion fast? To change your diet is not enough if you want to improve your digestion. When you start eating properly gradually you digestion will get better. Second, enzymes are essential for all chemical processes in the body including digestion. The best source of enzymes is fresh fruits. The food pyramid requires two to three servings of fruits daily. While fruits are good for you, you should not eat a fruit salad. Remember 2 rules of fruit combining:
  1. Do not combine acid fruits (citrus, plums, pineapple, strawberries, oranges) with sweet fruits (bananas, figs, persimmons)
  2. It is better to eat any kind of fruit along – do not mix fruits
Third, in order to enhance your digestion you need to chew until your food is liquefied in your mouth. Digestion of carbohydrates begins in the mouth. To liquefy food we sometimes need to chew 20 or 30 times, this is why eating and on the run, in front of the TV, or making meal time social time, can divert attention from chewing process.

Fourth, a proper colon cleanse speeds up the digestion by removing toxic build up from the wall of the colon. Build up happens because most of us do not eat enough dietary fiber. Build up hinders digestion and absorption of nutrients leading to many health problems.
