• The materials you will require are measuring tape, screwdriver or a drill.
• The first step is to measure the length and width of the window, where you want to hang the drapes. The exact measurements should be taken so that the drapes fit in well.

• On a flat and clean surface, lay out the drapes with the back side of the drapes facing upwards.
• The next step is to insert a pin hook or a quick hook at each pleat. If you are inserting pin hooks, take care that you slide the sharp pin under the stitches, until it is hidden completely in the fabric and only the hook is visible. If you are using quick hooks, slide the double prong teeth under one side of the pleat. While doing this, take care that both sides of the pleat should be around the teeth. The bottom of the hook should be present at the bottom of the pleat and only the hook end should be protruded.
• A hook should be inserted on one of the sides of the drape. This is applicable only to the drapes which you are going to attach to the wall drapery brackets.
• If you are planning to join the drapes at the center, like the double pleated panels, use a quick hook for connecting both the panels at the center.
• For mounting the drapes, insert each hook over the rod and then in to the rod drapery holes.
