How to Get Your Ex Back - A Few Simple Tips
So, you’re wondering how to get your ex back? Breakups are terrible and they really hurt, but what do you do when still have feelings for your ex and want to get the relationship back together? Most of the time people will do one of two things when they want to get an ex back. They either forget about it and move on, thinking it will be too hard or they handle it all wrong!

You don’t have to go through either of those scenarios. There are effective ways to deal with a break up and come out on the other side a stronger and better person. The first thing you need to remember is don’t panic! Stay calm and in control. Don’t let them see you as a needy, clingy, wimp. If you need to cry and be sad, it’s okay, just don’t do it in front of the ex!

The next thing you need to do is take a good, honest look at what went wrong with the relationship. Many times it is something small and easily fixed. Sometimes though, it will be something that will take time, so be patient. Figuring out what was wrong in the relationship will help you decide how to get your ex back.

Once you know what went wrong you will need to develop a ‘game plan’. What can you do to fix the situation? Many times the problems between two people are due to a lack of communication. Perhaps you talk too much and don’t listen enough? Or maybe you just don’t talk much at all. Communication issues hit all couples at least from time to time. It’s hard to have a realistic view of your partners needs when you don’t talk things out. Be specific, don’t expect for him or her to ‘just know’ what you need. It ain’t gonna happen that way, guaranteed!

Keep the lines of communication open with your ex and keep things light and friendly so that both of you can feel comfortable being honest with each other about the things that worked and the parts of the relationship that weren’t so great. You need to be prepared to take the blame for things that were your fault and try to avoid those behaviors/attitudes in the future. Be completely honest with your ex about the things they did that hurt or bugged you as well. This way when you do get your ex back you will both be starting with a clean slate.
