How To Get Your Articles Ranked Higher
Discover how you can get your articles ranked for competitive keywords in search engines like Google. Using my method you'll be able to easily get your articles ranked high in Google.
Article marketing or bum marketing as some call it is one of the greatest ways to market online. Not just because it’s free, but also that it allows you to get excellent placement in the search engines like Google. If you write a good article and know a thing or two about SEO you can get your article ranked for some very competitive keywords, and get a good amount of traffic back to your site.
What if you’re not an SEO expert though? What if you never wrote an article before? If this is the case it might be hard for you to target a keyword and get your articles ranked for it. So I would like to share with you an easy method I’ve been using to help get my articles ranked for some very competitive keywords.
First you need to search for the keyword you wish to rank for. Usually I look in Google and try to target keywords that have fewer than one million results. This will allow use to easily get our article ranked. Just make sure the keyword you are targeting has people searching for it month after month so your article doesn’t go to waste.
Now that you’ve selected a keyword to target next is writing your article. Keyword placement is important in helping your article get ranked in Google. Below is what I recommend you do with your keyword you are targeting.
* Place your keyword at least once in your title
* Spread your keyword out at least 5 time throughout your article
* Bold and Italic your keyword one time each
* Link to an outside website on your article using your keyword
That takes care of the on site optimization you can do for your article. Now simply submit your article to one of the popular article directories online.
After you submit your article your last step now is to build back links to your article. Once your article is approved and you have a direct link to your article go to Hubpages and create a hub that is related to your article. On your hub make sure you link back to your article using the keyword as the link. Next create a Squidoo lens that is related to your article, and once again create link that goes back to your article using the keyword you are trying to rank for.
Using this method you will be able to get your articles ranked for keywords in Google. Again though make sure the keyword you are targeting has fewer then one million results.
If you need another way to market your website online besides article marketing I recommend free safelists. Using free safelists along with your articles will without doubt increase your websites traffic.
