So when this happens after a long period of starvation, i.e. we overeat, our body which is used to lesser or no food at all, does not know how to respond. Also, the body, in order to prepare for the next "starvation", stores fats in the body, thus making you gain instead of lose weight. So in order to lose weight, eat well.
Body Detox
Increase in body fats and weight gain can also be due to stress induced improper digestion, resulting in accumulation of toxins and wastes in the body. In order to get rid of them, body detoxification, every few months should be done. An effective liver cleansing recipe is mixing ginger juice, lemon juice, grapefruit juice and distilled water together. Then adding paste of garlic, acidophilus powder and flax seed oil to the mixture, blending everything together and drinking this concoction thrice a day.
Exercise
You can not just lose weight by changing your diet. Exercise is very important too. So if somebody asks me how to get skinny really fast, I suggest them, move your butt and start exercising. On a more serious note, include both cardiovascular activities as well as weight training in your workout. Exercise by indulging in activities that you like, be it swimming, aerobic exercises, or even dancing. But remember to follow it up with weight training. While doing weight training, plan your gym schedule with a gym instructor in such a way that one body part is exercised, each day. For example keep leg exercises for Monday, stomach exercise for Tuesday, back exercises for Wednesday, and so on. Although, there is nothing like "spot reduction", still exercising on a particular body part will help in toning up the muscles, and hence will lend you a skinny look.
Diet
Eat a healthy diet which consists of lots of fruits and vegetables. Eat fiber rich foods, such as oranges, broccoli, apples, avocado, apricots, bananas, and cereals as they help in digestion and will also help in keeping hunger at bay for a very long time. Include lots of lean proteins, carbohydrates and mono saturated fats in your diet to stay healthy and fit, and also, skinny.
These are a few tips on how to get skinny, yet healthy at the same time. Losing weight and getting skinny, takes time, patience and a lot of effort. Any diets or articles proclaiming tricks on "how to get skinny in a week" or how to get skinny in a day", should be discarded as trash, as first of all whatever weight you lose by following them will become back within no time. Secondly, they be full of suggestions such as only drink water, or eat only a particular kind of food in a day, and thus, will make you weak and unhealthy. So I suggest, exercise, eat right, drink lots of fluids, do body detoxification once in a few months, and you will start seeing the results that you want within a few months time.
