How to Get Rid of Spiders
This article dwells on some different ways of getting rid of spiders naturally without the use of chemical sprays. Spiders can create quite a nuisance in the house by spinning their webs in cabinets and different corners of the house.

The market is flooded with all kinds of commercial spider sprays to get rid of the spiders, however, often these sprays are more deleterious to humans than to spiders. So here are some measures to get rid of spiders around the house without harming the spiders or your house.
Relocation
The best way to get rid of a spider instantly is by transporting the spider from the house to any location outside. To relocate the spider, you will need one clear glass, a firm piece of paper and a card. Pin the spider inside the glass by placing the glass over the spider without hurting the spider. Now slide the paper under the glass and allow the spider to walk onto the paper. You can also do this the other way round by first allowing the spider to walk onto the paper and then placing the glass onto it. Turn the glass over and let the spider fall gently into the glass. Take the spider to a spot outside the house and set it free by placing the glass on its side and remove the paper. The spider will wander out and stop bothering you.
Target Their Food Source
Spider will live in your house as long as your house furnishes them with the food they require. So check your house and see if other bugs and ants are residing. If yes, then getting rid of this food source will force the spiders to leave the house in search of food elsewhere. You could also get a cat home, who would eat up the spiders.
Vacuuming
You could also vacuum the spiders, their web and egg sacs and dispose the container bag in a pot or trough outdoors.
Hedge Apples
Hedge apples are available in stores to repel insects. Spider hate hedge apples, so placing a hedge apple near the web will cause the spider to leave the place. However, the problem with this natural remedy is that hedge apples or horse apples are not available until late summer of early fall. However, it's during this time that spiders are the most annoying. Besides hedge apples, lemon pledges are also good to keep spiders away. Dusting your window sills and door frames with lemon pledge, both inside and out will prevent spiders from coming into the house.
Eliminate Vegetation
Trim the shrubs and bushes around the house neatly and keep them off the exterior walls of the house. Move wood, rock or lumber piles away from the house and discontinue use of outdoor lighting. Lights attract tasty insects which spiders like to eat, thereby attracting spiders. If you simply cannot do without outdoor lighting, then switch to sodium or yellow vapor lights.
It's important to identify a spider correctly. Once you identify it, look for specific remedies to get rid of them. Once you get rid of the spiders, you need to prevent them from welcoming themselves once again. For this, keep your house clutter free and do not leave remains of food around the house.
