So, refrain from eating foods with high cholesterol, saturated fat, sugar, hydrogenated oil, etc. While crash dieting is not advisable, even large meals must be avoided. These exercises must be aimed at toning of the leg muscles. Walking, jogging and swimming are said to be very effective for reducing cellulite on thighs and other parts of the legs. Squats, lunges and leg extensions are also said to be useful for this purpose. Open air walking is one of the preferred thigh exercises for this skin condition. Another popular cellulite exercise can be done by standing straight, with your back flat against the wall. You have to slowly drop your upper body, so that the legs are bent at 90 degree angle with the wall. Don't use your hands for support and breathe normally. Retain the position for around a minute and repeat it a few times every day. You may also search for other leg exercises for cellulite reduction.
It may not be possible to get rid of cellulite with the help of any one of these methods. The best way is to adopt a combination of methods like diet control, exercises, use of cellulite reduction products, etc. Even dry skin brushing, regular scrubbing and massaging, etc., are said to be useful in controlling cellulite.
