- Have a glass of lukewarm milk with ½ a teaspoon of turmeric everyday during winter. It is an excellent sore throat remedy and also helps in preventing the occurrence of cold.
- As the common cold virus grows and spreads in cool and dry conditions, it is better to keep the air moist. You can have a humidifier in the room to keep it warm and moist.
- Lastly, maintaining cleanliness and good hygiene is also very important for prevention of infectious diseases like cold.
