How to Get Curly Hair
Curly hair are a sought after hair type for their natural bounce and volume. If you do not have naturally curly hair, then here is your guide on how to get them.

Tips to Get Curly Hair
Using a Curling Iron
Wet your hair with cold water and scrunch it up, as you would do during a normal shampoo. Then rinse it under a warm shower. Pour a cup of milk and work it well to add texture to your hair. Again rinse with warm water. Then, shampoo and condition your hair as usual. Rinse and repeat the procedure. Wrap your hair in a towel, so as to absorb excess water. Now, while your hair is still wet (but not dripping wet), put on curlers. Make sure that you won't leave out strands of hair. Spray all your hair with a hairspray. Then, blow dry your hair and tie only half of your hair. Using a curling iron, iron the loose hair at the bottom. Untie the top half hair and repeat the same procedure.
Natural Technique to Get Curly Hair
Wet your hair with cold water and then rinse it with warm water. Shampoo your hair by working up good lather. Repeat it a couple of times if required and then condition it. Wrap your hair in a towel and leave the towel on until the excess water is absorbed. Untangle your hair using a wide toothed comb. Apply some leave-in conditioner for smooth, silky hair. Start braiding your hair. If you want only a few curls, then you should make 4 - 5 braids (number may vary depending upon the volume of your hair). On the other hand, if you want extensively curly hair, then you may have to make number of small braids. Blow dry your hair, when you are done with the braids. Either, leave the braids overnight by sleeping on them, or you may untie them after 3 - 4 hours. However, make sure you don't comb your hair after untying your braids. If you are wondering about how to get short curly hair, then you must have realized that this indeed is not the technique for you. In that case, you may refer to the next method.
Using Curlers
If you do not have the patience to roll your hair and pin it up, then, curlers could be your option. Shampoo and condition your hair as usual. While your hair is still damp, put the rollers on. You will have to leave them on overnight. Sleeping on curlers will hurt, but that's the little sacrifice you will have to make to get those lovely locks. In the morning, blow dry your hair for about a minute, before unrolling the rollers. This is a sure shot method of getting really curly hair.
Hope these tips help you get the desired curls. However, if you want curly hair that will last for several days, then perming is the only option. But then, you might have to compromise with the texture of your hair.
