How to Get a Boyfriend

So all your friends are dating and you are left alone with a broken heart. Find yourself a boyfriend, by following the tips suggested in this article.
Renee is a fourteen year old, who has everything in life. She has loving parents, she is smart, intelligent, good to look at, beautiful at heart and always ready to help and reach out to others. But still there is one thing she feels is lacking in her life, i.e., "a boyfriend". While all her friends and girls her age are dating, Renee does not have a close guy friend.

Do you find yourself in a similar situation? Do you feel that you have everything going for you, be it looks or brains, still, the boys seem not to ask you out on a date? If yes, then believe me you are not alone. I remember when I was young, I too had experienced the same thing. It was around that time only that my elder sister had a heart to heart conversation with me and gave me a few tips for attracting a guy or make him fall in love with me. So if you want to get a boyfriend, then here are some of those useful tips which turned my life around.

Know Your Preferences
When you are young, you generally are not aware about what kind of qualities you would like in your boyfriend. Understanding your preferences is the first thing that you should do, when looking for a boyfriend. Is it looks that make you like a guy or is it his sense of humor? Do you like guys which are popular in school or do you like the shy ones? So the first very important tip is to know what you want. Once you know the things that attract you to a guy, it is easier for you to find the boy of your choice.

Put your "Best Foot Forward"
Now that you know that there is a particular guy in your school or college who is exactly the kind of person that you dream of, make an effort to get noticed by him. And the best thing to do this, is to always make a good impression by putting your best foot forward. So tip number two is to dress well. Buy new dresses which suit your body type, that is highlight your strong points and hide your faults. You can take the help of your elder sister, some friend or even your mother for this. Choose bright colors such as red, pink and yellow for your wardrobe. Since most guys at that age, prefer beauty over anything else (I know it's sad but it's true), your style and looks will surely attract a lot of guys. .

Be Friends with the Guy You Want
Try to become friends with the guy you like. You can start by being friendly with his friends. See if you have any mutual friends, if yes, drop a hint or tell them casually about your interest in him. Remember, not to pursue the guy too much as guys like to chase girls rather than be chased. If the guy you are interested in is a member of a club in the school or college, join that club. In short, be friends with him by hook or crook.

Wait for Him to Ask You Out
Once you are friends with the guy, flirt with him a bit. Do things which will totally confuse him such as being over friendly at times and being totally aloof at others. If the mutual friends have already told him about your liking for him, such an erratic behavior will surely confuse him. Sometimes, tell him subtly that you like him, but do not ask him out. Start maintaining contact with him through emails and chat with him once a while. If the guy likes you or is attracted to you, he will surely ask you out.

Although, love and life are both strange and so, be open for the unexpected in both. It might happen that you like the most popular guy in school, but see yourself getting attracted to a shy guy as well. Or, maybe you start liking one of the friends of the guy you are interested in or worse, the guy you like starts dating your best friend. Thus, anything, anytime can happen, especially when one is young. So I would suggest, stop being hung up on finding a boyfriend, just enjoy life, do your best in whatever you take up, and all other things will automatically fall in place.
