How to Dry Your Hair
A beauty asset, hair, is a very crucial aspect of how you look. Wrong hair treatment, excessive use of chemicals and wrong methods of drying your hair can lead to hair loss and damage to the scalp. Check out the article below to find out more on how to dry your hair.
How to Blow Dry Hair?
Things You Need
Towel, hairdryer, brush/Comb, claw-Clip or barrette, usual styling products or a small amount of hair gel for touch-ups.
Method
- If the water is dripping from your hair, it is a complete no no for blow drying, so tying up your hair in a towel and removing excess water is imperative. Now comb your hair smooth and part it as you want.
- Except for a frail layer of hair at the base of your head, gather your hair and twist it and pin it on the top of your head using a clip or a barrette.
- Switch the blow dryer on and start drying the section of hair which is lose. As far as possible use the minimum heat setting.
- Once the hair is totally dry, switch off the dryer and brush or comb your hair.
- Repeat this for all the clipped sections of your hair, one by one.
- Finally, finishing drying all the sections, leave your hair down or indulge in hairstyling as you wish. Any haircut style and idea which suits you!
Things You Need
Diffuser, anti-frizz product and boar bristle paddle brush.
Method
- Well begun is half done. So the most important thing to do is to have a good quality diffuser. Then attach that diffuser to the end of the blow dryer. Confirm that it is completely covering the stream of air, as any amount of concentrated air would result in your hair being frizzy.
- Hold the dryer about an inch away from your head and flip your head upside down while you do that.
- Dry the hair gradually, while running your fingers as you progress through the hair.
- Do not dry the hair till its totally dry. Just dry the hair enough, to get rid of the excess water.
- Slowly rub an amount (equal to the size of a dime) of anti-frizz hair styling product on your palms and apply it to your hair all the way, from tip to root.
- Hold the dryer half an inch away from the top of your head and at the same time straighten or rather make your hair taut using a boar bristle paddle brush. If you want them to be a bit wavy, scrunch the hair in your palms.
That was whatever there could be about how to dry hair, in the most common ways and in likely scenarios. Take precautions and employ all the hair care tips you can possibly use.
