How To Dominate Your Dot Com Niche
How to conquer your competition in any niche on the Internet and make your Internet business a wild success...
Remember in school where you had to complete projects that seemed as difficult as climbing Mount Everest? At the end of the day, you still completed them, right? And it felt easy after everything!
All you had to do was some research, some copying and pasting of ideas at times, several hours, some designs for your project covers and outline, and you had a project ready to submit. Believe it or not, this is the simple process that most Internet marketers use to launch products! It is not difficult if you tell yourself it isn't.
First, the research. How do you find your Internet niche? Let me unveil to you a simple free tool provided by Yahoo:
Inventory.overture.com
At this simple search engine, you can type the topic of your desire, and find how many searches there were in the last 30 days for that search term. It is like generating your view of the demand in the marketplace in a matter of seconds. Next, you want to do some research on your competition. Type in the search term on Yahoo and see how many websites there are. If you see 11,000,000 websites, don't panic. Most of it is not your competition. Only a few are.
Type allintitle:your subject and you will narrow down your searches. This is a more realistic number of your real competition. Even then, it is safe to say only 10-20% of those sites are sites which fully cater to your niche.
There are other more advanced ways to research your niche, but this require more techniques and some investment. If you are just starting, the two ways I have described will give you more than an adequate view of the Internet marketplace of your choice! Fabian Tan is the author of the free 51-Page Report:
