How to Create a Captivating Unique Selling Proposition (USP) For Home Based Business Success

A step-by-step guide to creating a killer unique selling proposition (USP) that attracts tons of traffic, leads, and sales for your home based business. Every successful home business owner has a great USP.
Every home based business owner needs a great unique selling proposition (USP) if they want to be successful.

We all know the importance of being unique and standing out from the crowd, because this makes you different from everybody else and attracts prospects to you.

All successful home business owners have great USP's that they use to generate tons of traffic, leads, and sales.

We human beings only buy from people that we know, like and trust.

People don't buy from a business, they buy from you.

Conversely, if your home business involves recruiting, people don't join a business, they join you.

Unfortunately, most home business owners have never given much thought to their USP.

They have never really asked themselves what makes them different from the crowd, and why others should buy from them.

I believe that crafting a great USP is one of the most important factors in determining your success, because this is the one of the first things that your prospects will be exposed to when they see your website or meet you in person. So, how do you go about creating your USP?

In a way it is very simple, because you are already 'unique'.

You are already different from everyone else in the world, because there is only one 'YOU'.

There are 3 main steps to creating a great USP.

1. Craft your story

We all have different stories. What is YOUR story? Define it as clearly as you can.

Who are you? What's your background? What are your beliefs? These are some of the questions you should ask yourself.

Clearly defining your story will help you stand out from the crowd and separate you from the masses.

Never think that your story is boring. It may be boring to you, but it's not boring to everyone else.

You will be surprised at how many people will relate to your story and connect with you.

The key is not to try and appeal to everybody, but to be yourself and 'attract' those who find you compelling.

Remember, there is only one YOU in this world, and YOU have the ability to touch other people's lives in ways that NOBODY ELSE can.

2. Determine your 'Reason Why'

This is commonly called your "why".

Why did you start your home business? What are your goals?

Whatever your 'why' is for running a home business, always make it crystal clear to your prospects.

Having a great 'why' will let you have a great USP that attracts tons of prospects to you like a magnet.

3. Combine your story and reason why in a brief, clear, and concise statement

The last step in creating your USP is combining your story and your reason why into a short, clear, and concise statement.

This is the main message that you will portray to your prospects as soon as you meet them, and throughout your communication with them.

It should be brief, clear, and concise because this will make it easier to remember for your prospects.

Following these 3 steps will help you create a great USP that will attract tons of prospects to you and result in tons of sales for your home business.

May your business grow and prosper.
