How to Communicate with Your Coach if You don’t Like Softball Drills
Every loser in softball throws outbursts of their emotions. He sometimes loses his temper and even his good behavior. Some people will even tell you that you’re such an aching loser. You are a worst sport because you cannot accept defeat.
We cannot deny the fact that losing in any game particularly in softball is hard. It takes a lot of courage to accept that fact most especially if you are aiming for the final win. It hurts but you definitely can never bring back what you have done.
In this case, it is the best time that you reflect on the past activities that made you lose the game. You must learn from these so that you will not and never repeat the same mistake.
Start with the very basic. Of course in your everyday dealing with life, you are having your softball drills. You are always in front of your coach listening to his endless instructions. As much as possible, you want to try to obey all of his guidelines but it seems like you can’t find the courage to tell him that you are not comfortable with the softball drills that you are learning from him.
This is the best moment that you communicate clearly with your coach. You tell him about the problem that has been bothering your mind lately. In this way, he will know that something is wrong with you and you can never afford to lose the next softball games of your life because you are not enjoying the softball drills that he is implementing on you.
Let us face the reality. You have lost the game because you haven’t felt good with your softball performance. You cannot perform well because you cannot do the technique that you want to employ in your softball performance because that is not included in the guidelines during your softball drills.
However, it is still important to note that your coach must immediately know this so that both of you will understand each other. The coach, of course has a fault of not noticing that you are not comfortable with his training methods. As a coach, it is also his responsibility to become informed with how his players react to his instructions and softball drills. But it is also his advantage that he should be followed by the rest of the players since he is the coach.
Truly, a good communication before, during and after the softball drills is required. You can never deny the fact that a team which has good communication skills will always reap success at the end. What more is that it could also develop a very harmonious relationship among the softball team.
Approaching your coach is sometimes a hard task. But, when will you start sharing him your concerns? You can never afford to lose the next game, right? So if you are still having some second thoughts of telling your coach about your situation, you must act now or forever hold your peace!
