Blackhead Strip
The quickest way to remove blackheads is with the help of blackhead strips. These strips consist of a mixture at the bottom that helps in extracting blackheads. To begin with, take some boiling water in a large pot. Cover your head with a towel and take your face closer to get the steam from the boiling water. Do this for 5 minutes. Before you apply the nose strip, read the instructions given on its label. Then place the strip on the nose in such a way that it covers up the blackhead properly. Keep it untouched for the next 10 minutes. Now, pull it off upwards in order to uproot the blackhead. As you use steam, both the problems of blackheads and large pores can be resolved.

Blackhead Extractor
A blackhead extractor comes in the form of a thin metallic stick with a small hole at its end. Before using this device, you have to soften the blackheads. Clean your face first with a mild exfoliating facial cleanser. While cleaning, scrub the nose area with special attention. However, so not rub the skin too much as it can cause skin irritation. Then use steam to soften the blackheads further. The next step is sterilizing the metal extractor to avoid any kind of infection. When the sterilized metal extractor has cooled down, put its looped part on the outline of the blackhead. Once the hole has properly encircled the blackhead, pull it with a gentle hand. Thus, the deep blackheads on nose will get extracted. Make sure that you do not use the tool harshly or else it can badly scar the skin or cause infection.

Gels and Creams
There are gels and creams available which contain benzoyl peroxide that can be effectively used as a blackhead remover. On application, it absorbs the oil from the skin and strips off the blackheads from the skin surface. These creams should not be used regularly as benzoyl peroxide could be harsh on your skin if used for a long time. Soon after the treatment, an oil free moisturizer should be applied as the skin tends to become dry.
