Steps for Building a Tree House

1. Start by building the platforms and erecting the posts. Mount the beams on the platform with the help of bolts. Set the bolts at least 12 inches from each other. Secure the platform near the trunk of the tree with diagonal bracing, such as galvanized or stainless steel fasteners. Check if the platform is equally balanced on the tree so as to prevent it from swaying.
