Water: Drink lots and lots of water throughout the day. Drink minimum 2.5 liters everyday. Water will keep your body flushed and clean, and aid in digestion.
Fiber Rich Foodstuffs: Go for a high fiber diet. Fibers don't get digested easily in the body, and hence you will feel full. But, the important part fibers play in weight loss is that they move the fats out of the body. Fruits like grapefruit and apples; and veggies like broccoli and spinach are great choice. So include these fiber rich foodstuffs in your diet.
Yogurt: Plain yogurt is extremely beneficial for your digestive health. It replaces the harmful bacteria in the digestive system, with the beneficial one. Yogurt contains specific proteins, to break these proteins, the body generates a lot of heat, and hence you burn calories.
Lemon and Water: This is one of the best metabolism booster. In a glass of cold water, mix juice of one lemon, and drink it. The body will generate heat due to the cold water, and lemon will keep your body clean.

- Start your day by taking lemon and water mix. After an hour or so try to drink around half to one liter of the water. Keep drinking lot of water during the first half of the day, and try to drink less amount of water in the later half of the day.
- Many people prefer going for exercises in the evening. But, it is advisable that you go for exercise in the morning. So, perform around 1 hour of exercise, which can consist of 10 minutes of warm-up, then 40 minutes of swimming and then 10 minutes walking or stretching to cool down.
- After your exercise, have a healthy breakfast, and remember never to skip a breakfast, and never to starve if you wish to boost metabolism naturally. Your breakfast can consist of cereals like oatmeal or oat bran and some fresh fruits like apples or grapefruit.
- Eat green salad before your lunch and dinner. If you get hungry in the middle of the day or evening, then for snacks have a bowl of yogurt and some nuts. As, nuts contain essential fatty acids which help to raise the metabolism.
- Lastly, get adequate rest. It is important that you get adequate 8 hours of sleep during the night, as body generates a growth hormone when one is asleep, which helps to speed-up metabolism naturally.
