How to Bleach Skin
Wondering how to bleach skin? Read on to find out just that.

How to Bleach Skin Naturally?
Cucumber, Potato and Tomato
These are one of the most user-friendly (this is for the tech savvy lasses) bleaching ingredients available! You can use them separately as well as in tandem. While blemishes on the skin are reduced by cucumber and potato, tomato adds icing on the cake (oops I mean the bleaching mixture), with its fantastic antioxidant properties. Rub your face with the juices of these 3, let it stay overnight and wash it off the next morning.
Potato and Honey with Lemon Juice
- Take two small potatoes and then peel and grate them. Place the grated potato in a square portion of unbleached cotton or muslin cloth.
- Now add 3 drops of lemon juice to the grated potatoes and similarly add a few drops of honey to the mixture.
- Close the cloth by bringing the corners together, holding them between your fingers.
- Rub the cloth with the mixture inside on your face. Let this mixture cum juice stay on your face for a minimum of 20 minutes before you wash it off.
- An application, twice a week, of this mixture, would get good results for bleaching your skin.
- Take an orange and peel it and let the peels dry in sun.
- After the peels are thoroughly dried, grind them and then add raw milk to the orange paste. Add milk till you get the consistency of a paste.
- Apply the paste to your face and leave it until it dries.
- Clean your face with lukewarm water.
- Begin with cutting a fresh lemon in slices.
- Apply these slices where there are dark spots, freckles or blemishes directly.
- Hold the slice there for around 10 minutes and then wash off all the juice.
- You can do this once a week, till the time you get rid of those spots.
How to Bleach Skin at Home?
- Wash your face clean with a mild cleanser at night and rinse with warm water. Then pat your face dry.
- Another way in which you can bleach skin is using a skin care product with hydroquinone. Apply it every evening before going to bed. Hydroquinone obstructs melanin production and does not let the skin produce the pigment needed for skin color.
- Increase the exfoliating process in the morning. This will expose the fresh, pigment-inhibited skin.
- Amongst other useful and effective solutions for bleaching skin is to use a chemical exfoliant. This leads to boosting the turnover of the cells of the skin.
- Use a sunscreen regularly for avoiding side effects caused by exposure to sun, especially to a harsh sun. The sun can totally reverse the impact of hydroquinone on your skin, resulting in increased pigment production.
Finally, I feel rather than chemical bleaching, you should use oranges, gram four, lemon honey, potato etc to cleanse the skin. There is no need to bleach skin unless there are dark spots or the likes on your face disturbing you. Dusky and lovely skin looks ravishing, ladies! Forget fair and lovely for some time. This is where I sign off! Take care!
