How to Back Up iPhone Contacts
Dread a device crash all of a sudden? Learn how to back up iPhone contacts in extremely easy steps mentioned below.

Using iTunes
So, doesn't matter if you're getting your phone repaired, or creating a backup unnecessarily. The following method will help you learn something new about your widget. Backing up iPhone contacts with Apple iTunes is easy, and I'll prove it. So, to start with, the first step would be connecting your iPhone to your PC, wherein, it will automatically sync. In case it doesn't, launch iTunes, and click on the phone icon that's shown towards the left.
Secondly, click on the info tab, and select Contacts. When you select it, check on the sync contacts from option, and click on Windows Address Book.
Thirdly, select the contacts you want to create a backup of (usually, people click on all), and click on Sync. Merge contacts, and see them getting copied in your Windows Address Book. Guess what? You successfully learned the easiest method to create a backup of your iPhone contacts!
Using Gmail
But your computer is a device too, after all. It shan't come as a surprise to you if one day, even your computer might crash out of nowhere, and you just can't help but run through a gamut of iPhone data recovery software. So, a better option would be directly creating a backup of all your data on your email account, however, again with a tad-bit of help from iTunes. Some easy steps, and you know that all your contacts have been saved on your Gmail account, in the nick of time. Here's how.
Firstly, sync your iPhone to your computer that's connected to the Internet. Launch iTunes, and click on Info.
Secondly, click on Sync Address Book Contacts in the Contacts option, and tick mark Sync Google Contacts too. Click on Configure.
Thirdly, when the pop-up arrives, enter your Gmail account details (Username and Password) into it, and click OK. Sit idle, and let your phone copy all your contacts onto your Gmail account. Every time you sync your iPhone with your PC, your contacts will get synced to Google Contacts. That's killer, ain't it?
Just ensure you have with you the latest version of iTunes, and not only contacts, but every other data can easily be backed up in a matter of minutes. Give it a go once and come back here in case you go wrong anywhere. And so I conclude.
