How The City Of Atlantis Became Lost
Learn how I imagine the mysterious city suddenly disappeared.
Long ago, before Atlantis became lost, it was a remarkably beautiful city. In the streets strolled the kind people of Atlantis who were living happily. Among them was an evil man who had a hatred for happiness. Kelpie was his name. This feared sorcerer was known for his extraordinary dark powers. He could force animals to do bad things if he wanted to; he tortured and killed innocent people for entertainment. Kelpie would torture people to the level of insanity. After all there defenses were down he would kill. Killing with his powers would leave no sign of death. In other words the person would merely "drop dead". On a peaceful night, Kelpie's followers wished for the whole city to suffer; they wanted the entire city, and its joyful people to drown.
But Kelpie did not only want the city to suffer, he wanted the entire world to be on its knees. Once the city was under water, ALL its merry people would turn into water demons. He called them kelpies. Their mission was to destroy any ship that passes above the city. The grown ups would be killed because the Kelpies would need human blood to survive. The children would become a new batch of Kelpies ready to take on the mission. Before the first crack of dawn, Kelpie, along with his followers, went down to the beach to tell his favorite, most feared creatures to drown the entire city. By the time everyone woke up, the entire city was under the ocean. All the people had turned into Kelpies. Today, the Kelpies live, not only in Atlantis, but worldwide, looking for humans to kill: waiting for the next ship of humans to arrive.
