How Do I Get A Nice, Flat Stomach?
It would be really nice to be able to just do 100 sit ups a day and have the abs magically appear within weeks. What most people always forget is that we already have a 6 pack in there but for most of us it’s hidden under a layer or two of fat. So what is the best way to remove the fat?
Firstly, there’s no magic pills, shortcuts or easy way about it. If you’re like most people, you probably do crunches and sit ups or running like there’s no tomorrow to try and drop Body fat. In order to reduce your body fat you need to first understand that you cannot just target one area of your body (yes, spot reducing is a myth). To remove the excess fat in your body you need to do a combination of things which include following a healthy, low calorie diet and a mixture of cardio and strength training exercises. If you’re serious about reducing your body fat or losing weight then here are some simple tips you can follow:
Drink lots of water throughout the day
Exercise a minimum of 3x week at a medium to high intensity
Incorporate both cardio and strength & conditioning exercises in your workouts
Eat smaller meals more often throughout the day (6 small meals every 2 hours)
Try to reduce the fat intake in your meals. (Less oily foods, cut out the fat in your steaks, etc)
Eat less "junk food". If it helps, have one day of the week where you allow yourself to indulge a little bit!
In order for you to really make a change in your body, you need to realise that it isn’t anything like following a program or diet for a certain amount of weeks, but it is more about "changing your habits". This is what will really make the transformation in your body. And you will come to realise that it is the everyday changes that really do make the difference. So just by following the above tips in your everyday lives you will find yourself on the road to a permanent and healthy change!
