How a Good Brand Image Helps Your Company

Creating a brand image can be difficult and time consuming. Be sure to present a professional image and be a professional company upon delivery of your product.
When we set out to create our company image for our bounce house company we struggled with how to name it. We went back and forth on what we should call it. We actually came up with the name on the way home over a weekend and said, "That’s the one!"It was a very exciting experience to come up with a name and feel happy about it. The next thing we started to think about however was a logo. How were we going to create an image that is both professional and appeals to all of our demographics?Also, how were we going to create something that is easily identifiable and portrays our name well

Our party rental equipment caters mostly to younger children. We do bounce houses, slides, and concession rentals. We realized early on however, that six year old children were not who we were trying to market to. Six year old do not generally log into their computer, look up bounce house companies, and call for a booking with their credit card. It is the parents, specifically the mothers, who call the company to book a party rental. Therefore we decided that we needed a brand image that appealed to adults.

What kind of image do adults like?For our specific example, we knew that parents looking for a bounce house company value cleanliness. They want their kids to have a clean and hygienic experience. We wanted to convey this hygienic message through our brand. That is why we kept our logo, site, and pictures simple and clean. This conveys the clean message to most adults. We also knew that adults like reliable and professional companies. This is why we tried to convey the most professional image that we could specifically through our website.

You will notice that our website is very lean and simple. It doesn’t have any moving graphics on it and is very straightforward and to the point. Many of our competitors in the bounce house business have websites that look like a six year old put them together. This may be great if six year old were booking their own party, but we mentioned early on that this never happens. Many people often ask if our company is part of a franchise. They can’t believe it when we tell them that we are an independent. Everyone comments that we have a very good image and web design that is clean and professional.

Our professional, clean image carries through in the work that we do on our job sites when we get to a party rental. We always wear tucked in green or grey shirts that have the same shades as our websites. We drive brand new trucks with our lettering on them that are always clean. Most importantly we have only the cleanest equipment once we get to our party rental customer. Clean equipment that the customer can touch and see is absolutely the most important party of any business. Cleanliness is quality in the eyes of the customer. Imagine going to a dirty restaurant. Even if the food is the best in the world, the customer will think quality is low because the restaurant is dirty.

It is one thing to present a professional image. It is totally another to carry out that professionalism with the customer. That is the only true way to have a good brand and professional image.
