Houston Dog Parks 4 Locations Inside the 610 Loop

As an apartment locator I am always helping clients and there pets find pet friendly apartments and dog parks nearby for recreation. I have found 4 great locations that any dog owner will find useful in best matching there dogs personality with these different dog park locations and amenities!

Ervan Chew Dog Park is located in or around Montrose 4502 Dunlavy zipcode 77006. If you live anywhere in Montrose or Upper Kirby than this will be a convenient location for you and your pet.

Amenities this park includes: 9000sqft fenced in space for dogs to run around without a leash. Includes ample water fountains for doggies, a special station for doggies waste disposal, shaded areas, designated small dog and large dog areas, and finally a doggies shower. For safety reasons No children under 12 Allowed.

Officer Lucy Dog Park is located in Bellaire 4337 Lafayette zip code 77401. If you live close to Uptown Galleria, near 59 and chimney rock, meyerland, braeswood place, and West University than this will be a convenient place for you and your doggie.

Amenities this park includes: early 5am to 9:30pm park hours, some shaded areas in large doggie area, pick up bags, designated small and large dog areas, and finally water fountain.

Must adhere to strict park rules: please no aggressive dogs or ones in heat or under 4 months, dogs must be unleashed after entering, dogs must be leashed when entering and leaving, must carry dogs vaccinations at all times, owner must pick up and dispose of doggie waste, must wear current license and vaccination tags, maximum 3 dogs per person, no digging or persistent barking, no spiked or pronged collars, and no food or drinks.For safety reason no children under 12 permitted.

Danny Jackson Dog Park located on Westpark Dr inside the loop past 610. Amenities: large and small dog designated areas, park benches, pond, new trees and walking paths. Unless noted elsewhere children are allowed and not many rules like officer Lucy dog park.

Levy Park Dog Park located 3801 Eastside between Kirby and Buffalo Speedway south of Richmond.

Amenities: some shade areas, lots of parking, water fountains for doggies, and if there are anything else I missed please comment!
