Esentepe is a beautiful coastal village which provides stunning views out across the Mediterranean. With the hot summer sun beating down upon the village, residents are thankful for the cool sea breezes that roll in off the Mediterranean, making it a comfortable as well as picturesque location.
Most of the essentials can be found in Esentepe to make it a realistic place to relocate, including a number of shops, a school and even a police station. However, it is the peace and tranquility that it offers that appeals to the potential property buyer above all else.
The Kyrenia mountain range provides a stunning backdrop, and the sandy beaches are perfect for relaxing in the sun. Esentepe really is the ideal choice for people who want to escape it all, and it is a world away from some of the larger towns and cities in the region.
Lapta
There are two entirely different sides to Lapta, and people wanting to buy a property in Northern Cyprus have a choice of either. Popular with tourists, Lapta is similar to Esentepe in that it offers both long, sandy beaches and spectacular mountain scenery, but it is far more built up than Esentepe. With a number of entertainment features, such as casinos and water sports, this is mainly a holiday resort, and would be the ideal place to invest in a property to rent to the hoards of tourists who flock here throughout the summer months.
However, Lapta’s other side is found in the much quieter Old Town.
