Hoodia Patch

Looking for information on the Hoodia patch? This article will answer some of your doubts regarding the benefits and effects of this 'miracle' weight loss supplement...
Okay, first up, I'm not a fan of fad diets. I think it's only fair to warn you at the outset. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of getting a perfect body without lifting a finger or huffing and puffing down a running track - I'm just a bit cynical about the actual powers of 'miracle' weight loss pills. I come from the old school, you know, the (smart) one where 'no pain, no gain' is the mantra, and free lunches come with a price tag. Having said that, I'm not judgmental about people who do believe in the Hoodia diet patch - it's a free world. So by all means, do what you will. However, I will elaborate on some points to help nudge you in the right direction (which, in case you haven't got, is far far away) to get you making some good choices. The reviews will do their bit in aiding my cause. With the evidence in front of you, make an informed choice (and don't waste your money on a Hoodia patch).

Reviews

You don't have to scour the internet and other health literature for rave reviews about Hoodia - its use as an appetite suppressant has been well established. The Hoodia diet patch, however, well that's a different story altogether. Cautious reviews warn against its effectiveness, while not so cautious ones trash it completely, just like me. So, if your question is, does Hoodia patch work, my answer is an emphatic, unequivocal - No. This is not for no reason, it simply hasn't been proven effective as yet. The theory behind this is simple. This patch, meant to be worn next to the skin, is supposed to release the extract into the bloodstream at regular intervals, to save you the bother of actually swallowing the pill (mad, but whatever). Now when Hoodia was brought to the west and its miraculous powers touted as the newest weight loss craze with the very attractive slim woman in the advertisements, it was released in the form of diet pills - which can ensure that its appetite suppressing powers do enter your body and stop you from reaching for that cheese burger or whatever your brand of poison. Simple so far?

Hoodia diet patches, however, are yet to prove their worth. To lend some authenticity to my tall claims, they're not FDA approved. Not only are there a number of dubious manufacturers that claim to be selling Hoodia under the guise of who knows what, current rules and regulations regarding weight loss supplements are not half as stringent as other prescription drugs and medication. This means that there are some supplements out there that are not what they say they are - not all of them, true, but definitely some. On the other hand, there are a number of dangers associated with Hoodia that you really ought to consider before you embark on the long and perilous search for the perfect figure.

Before I stop, and I promise I will, I would like to say that I truly believe that a healthy diet and exercise are the only answers to achieving a healthy weight loss. While that may involve effort and will power, it is the only answer to keeping fit and looking good in the process. Whichever method of weight loss you choose, educate yourself about the Hoodia patch side effects as well and weigh the pros and cons of such a method of weight loss. And as for the patch, save yourself the trouble - give this one a miss.
