Method
  • In a microwaveable bowl place the jojoba oil and beeswax together and let the ingredients microwave for about 3 to 4 minutes, till the ingredients are well blended.
  • Remove the bowl from the microwave and add grapefruit essential oil to it and stir well.
  • Then you can remove the mixture in the container and let it cool for about 20 to 30 minutes and your lip balm is ready to be used.
Vanilla Honey Lip Balm Recipe

Ingredients
  • Petroleum Jelly 2 tablespoons
  • Vitamin E Oil ¼ teaspoon
  • Beeswax 1 tablespoon
  • Honey 1 teaspoon
  • Vanilla Extract 1 teaspoon
Method
  • In a microwavable bowl heat petroleum jelly and beeswax together for about 5 minutes. After about 3 minutes, remove the bowl from the microwave and stir the ingredients well, so that the ingredients are equally heated. Place the bowl again in the microwave and let it heat for another 2 minutes.
  • Once you see there is transparent liquid in the bowl, take the bowl out of the microwave.
  • Let the bowl cool at room temperature for about 5 to 7 minutes and then add honey and vanilla extract to it and stir well.
  • Once you stir well, you will notice that the texture of the lip balm is thickening.
  • Then pour the lip balm in to the lip balm container and it is ready for use.
Cocoa Lip Balm Recipe

Ingredients
  • Beeswax 3 oz
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil 4 oz
  • Vitamin E capsule 1
  • Cocoa ½ teaspoon
Method
  • In a double boiler melt the beeswax.
  • Once you see transparent liquid, add extra virgin oil and Vitamin E oil capsule ingredients to the beeswax.
  • Stir the ingredients well and heat the mixture.
  • Remove it from the boiler and let the mixture cool at room temperature for about 5 to 7 minutes. Then add cocoa to it, stir well and your lip balm can now be transferred to the container.
Peppermint Lip Balm Recipe

Ingredients
  • Beeswax 2 teaspoons
  • Sweet Almond Oil 7 teaspoons
  • Honey 1 teaspoon
  • Peppermint Essential Oil 1 teaspoon
Method
  • Heat beeswax and almond oil till the beeswax has just melted.
  • Once the beeswax has melted, remove from heat, add honey to the mixture and stir well.
  • When the mixture has cooled a little add peppermint essential oil and store the lip balm in a container.
