- 3/4 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of tea powder
- 2-3 thin slices of fresh ginger root
- ¼ cup of milk
Put water, sugar and ginger slices in a teapot and bring to boil. When it starts boiling, add tea powder to the mixture and continue boiling. Next, add milk and keep on boiling the entire mixture for 1 whole minute. Let it simmer for 2-5 minutes. Strain into cup and have it hot to enjoy all the health benefits.
Now, there is also another method of making ginger tea with milk. You can substitute honey with sugar and use tea bags rather than tea powder. Here you will need to boil the water with ginger roots. When the water has boiled, turn off the heat and let it simmer for a few minutes. Now, strain the mixture in a cup, add honey and insert the tea bag according to your preference.
Lemon Ginger Tea
Ingredients
- 3-4 thin slices of fresh ginger root
- ½ fresh sliced lemon
- 1 clove of mashed garlic
- 2 cup of water
- 1 tablespoon of honey
Put water, ginger, garlic and lemon in a saucepan and bring to boil. When the water starts boiling, turn down the heat and let the mixture simmer for 5-10 minutes. Strain into coffee mug and have hot. If you wish to have stronger ginger tea, you should let it simmer for a longer time.
