Face Mask #1: The main ingredients for this homemade facial mask are strawberry and plain yogurt. Take 4-6 thoroughly washed strawberries in a bowl and mash them up with the help of a fork. Then pour one tablespoon of yogurt into it. Mix it up well so that you can get a smooth paste of uniform consistency that can be applied as a face mask.
Face Mask #2: You need an egg, one teaspoon of lemon juice and half avocado. Break the egg and separate its white portion from the yolk. Take the egg white in a small bowl and beat it thoroughly. Mash the piece of avocado so that you can get a soft pulp. Then put the beaten egg, lemon juice and mashed avocado in a blender and mix it well.
Face Mask #3: You require one small-sized cucumber, one cup oatmeal and one teaspoon of yogurt. Put sliced cucumber and the other two ingredients in a blender and make a paste out of them. This face mask can cleanse of the skin pores really well.
Face Mask #4:This face mask is made of honey and fresh apple. Wash the apple, peel off its skin and cut it into thin slices. Place the apple pieces and three tablespoons of honey into a blender. Face Mask #5: This mask for oily skin consists of honey, cinnamon and nutmeg powder. Blend one teaspoon of finely grounded cinnamon powder, 2 teaspoon of honey and one teaspoon of nutmeg powder in a blender. This is one of the best face masks for acne prone skin. Here cinnamon acts as skin exfoliant and honey reduces skin inflammation caused by pimples. It is good for acne scar removal too.
Face Mask #6: Those who are bothered by frequent outbreaks of blackheads should use a face mask made of baking soda and water. Prepare a thick paste by mixing up 3 tablespoons of baking soda and water. Massage this paste gently all over the facial skin for few minutes to get rid of the blackheads. After that, keep it for 10 minutes before you wash it off.
