Easy Recipes for Dog Treats

Veggie Bagels
Ingredients
  • Chopped carrots - ½ cup
  • Baking powder - ¼ teaspoon
  • Baking soda - ¼ teaspoon
  • Wheat flour - ½ cup
  • Vegetable oil - 1 teaspoon
  • White flour - 2½ cup
  • Water - ¾ cup
  • Egg - 1
  • Chopped spinach - ½ cup
Procedure

Take a mixing bowl and combine all the dry ingredients in it. In another bowl, combine the wet ingredients. Then mix both these mixture and knead properly to form a dough. Make small round shaped balls from the dough and poke holes of appropriate size in the middle of each ball to form a shape of bagel. Take a baking sheet and place the bagels in it. Bake them in a preheated oven at 350 degree Fahrenheit for 45 to 50 minutes.

Cookies with Bone Shape
Ingredients
  • Chicken broth - ¼ cup
  • Cottage cheese - ⅓ cup
  • Mashed black beans - ⅓ cup
  • Ground beef (uncooked) - ½ lb
  • Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon
Procedure

Take a small mixing bowl and add ground meat and chicken broth to it. Mix them properly and then add cottage cheese and mashed black beans to the mixture. Combine all the ingredients properly and mold small cookies with bone shape. Grease a cookie sheet and place these bone shaped cookies on them. Adjust the temperature of the oven to 375 degree Fahrenheit and bake the bone cookies for 45 minutes. Cool them and serve.

Canine Casserole
Ingredients
  • Steak sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Carrot (finely chopped) - 1
  • Any meat (beef or chicken) - 1 lb
  • Sliced green beans (string-less) - ½ cup
  • Celery - 1 stick
  • Potato (finely chopped) - 1 small
Procedure

Take a large casserole dish and add all the ingredients to it. Put some water to it and mix all the ingredients properly. Cover the casserole dish with a lid. Place the dish in the microwave oven for 10 minutes. Then, mix the ingredients and again place the dish in the microwave for 10 more minutes. Let it cool properly for an hour and then serve it to your loving dog.

Dip for the Doggy
Ingredients
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Peanut butter - 3 tablespoons
  • Whole wheat flour - 1 tablespoon
  • Vanilla yogurt - 1 container (16 ounce)
  • Very ripe banana - 1
Procedure

In a medium-sized bowl, add honey, ripe banana and peanut butter. Blend the mixture with the help of an electric mixer. In another bowl, add flour and yogurt and mix them properly. Then, combine the yogurt mixture and banana mixture together. Keep this mixture in the refrigerator. You can use this mixture as a dip for dogie cookies, biscuits and other treats. Chill the dip treat in the refrigerator so that the treat is coated with firm dip from all the sides.
