Homemade Dog Shampoo Recipes
Natural Shampoo
Ingredients
Liquid antibacterial soap or dish soap.
Apple cider vinegar or white vinegar.
Water.
Glycerin.
Directions
Mix together, 1 cup liquid antibacterial soap or mild dish soap, 1 cup apple cider vinegar or white vinegar, 1/3 cup glycerin and 1 quart water in a container. Mix all the ingredients well and store in an old shampoo bottle. Use this shampoo while bathing the dog and rinse well. Do not use it on the ears or near the eyes.
Dry Skin Shampoo
Ingredients
Cornstarch
Essential oil (tea tree oil, lemon oil, lavender oil, rosemary oil )
Corn meal
Directions
Mix together 1 box cornstarch, 10 drops of an essential oil and 1½ cup corn meal, in a container and store. When giving your dog a bath, apply this shampoo and massage it well into it's skin. Let it stand for around 5 minutes and then brush it away and rinse well. Follow it up with a natural homemade conditioner.
Flea and Tick Shampoo
Ingredients
Warm Water
Peppermint oil
White cedar oil
White vinegar
Eucalyptus oil
Citronella oil
Directions
Mix together two cups of warm water, 2 tablespoons of peppermint oil, 2 tablespoons of eucalyptus oil, 2 tablespoons white cedar oil, ¼ cup white vinegar and ¼ cup citronella oil. Mix well and store in an old shampoo bottle. Bathe your dog with this shampoo whenever you notice tick infestation or dog fleas on its body. Rinse well after use.
Oatmeal Shampoo
Oatmeal shampoo is ideal for relief from dry and scaly skin, mosquito bites, to remove fleas and also for cleansing and deodorizing.

Warm water
Directions
Mix together the oatmeal with warm water and stir until it becomes a starchy mixture. Pour this mixture into a tennis sock and then apply it on the dog's coat. Let it sit for about three to five minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water. Use this oatmeal shampoo on a weekly basis for beat results.
Homemade Dog Conditioner Recipes
Using homemade dog conditioner after shampooing will give a healthy shine and soft feel to the dog's coat and will also impart a pleasant smell.
Natural Conditioner

Rosemary seeds
Directions
Add some rosemary seeds to boiling water and boil for a minute or two. Remove this mixture from heat, let it cool down. After ten minutes, pour out the water by straining the rosemary seeds and pour the solution into a bottle. Use this conditioner after shampooing and rinse well.
Egg Conditioner

Warm water
Directions
Whisk some egg yolk with warm water until it turns creamy, then add the egg white and whisk well. Apply this to the dog's coat and let it stay for around two minutes and then rinse out with lukewarm water.
