How to Make

For making the Christmas salt dough ornaments, mix the salt, flour and water together and knead the dough till it turns smooth. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough to one-fourth thickness. Use a cookie cutter to shape the dough into your favorite Christmas ornaments. Once you have cut the dough into desired shapes use edible food coloring to paint the ornaments. Now join together the different parts of the ornaments and with a toothpick puncture a hole on top so that you can hang it later. You can leave the Christmas ornaments to dry by themselves or microwave it at 250 degrees for 2 hours. Once it is cooked, turn off the oven and let the pieces dry. How to Make

Mix the applesauce with the cinnamon to form a stiff dough. Roll to around one-fourth or one-eight thickness. You can use extra cinnamon for rolling the dough.
