Homemade Cherry Bomb Instructions
Homemade cherry bomb! Sounds like a misnomer for some recipe or a drink, isn't it? But, it would interest you to know that, it is a bomb, like any other conventional explosive. Here are some homemade cherry bomb instructions.
Requirements for Making a Cherry Bomb
A cherry bomb can be made by using articles from everyday use. There is no need to specially procure some hazardous components. The materials used are
- A bomb cover or base such as ping-pong (table tennis) ball
- A sufficiently long fuse string (at least 5 inches)
- Some nail polish
- A nail
- Shaving blade and patching material
- Black Powder, enough to fill 3/4 ball
The first step is to make a hole in the ping-pong ball by using the nail, which is sufficient to drive the fuse wire into it. At the exactly opposite side of this hole, cut a bigger hole on the ball, by means of a razor. The next step requires you to fill the ball with the black powder from the bigger end, such that 1/4th space is empty. Once you have stuffed the ball with the powder, patch the hole with a proper tape or any patching material, such that the powder does not fall out. Insert the fuse wire through the hole made by the nail. Then, paint the ball with the nail polish which will give it a nice look and more importantly make the explosive sound much louder. Finally, the cherry bomb is ready to be set off.
All you need to do now is, just ignite the other end of the fuse and enjoy the spectacular display of its sound and lights, as it unfolds before your eyes.
Safety Tips
The above procedure is simply a guideline to make a cherry bomb. However, it is advisable for the reader not to indulge in making one, if it violates the law of the land or safety concerns. Children should be strictly forbidden to try out the steps and in case you go ahead with the process, it should be with full cognition and awareness of the risk involved. If you are planning for a grand celebration, hope it is a safe and joyous one.
