How to make Homemade Brownies

Recipe 1

Ingredients
  • ⅓ cup All-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces sugar
  • 6 tablespoons cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces pecans, toasted
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Take ¼ cup butter in a microwave friendly dish and melt the butter in the microwave. When the butter gets completely melted, add the unsweetened cocoa powder and stir well. Once this is done, add the other ingredients including flour, sugar and eggs. Pour in the vanilla essence and salt and mix till all the ingredients are fully blended. Your brownie batter should be rich brown in color after you have finished with the mixing. Throw in some pecans and set aside. Spread some butter followed by flour on the baking dish to ensure that the brownie does not stick to it. Transfer the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and bake in the oven for at least thirty five to forty minutes. You can do the toothpick test to see whether the brownies are fully done.   • 12 ounces flour
  • 1¼ cups margarine
  • ¾ cup cocoa
  • 4 eggs
  • 16 ounces sugar
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 16 ounces nuts
Preparation

Beat eggs in a medium-sized bowl and set aside. In a sauce pan, melt butter on a medium to high heat and when it gets fully melted, put in the cocoa and stir. Take the sauce pan from the flame and add the sugar, followed by the beaten eggs and continue to stir. Add the vanilla essence and flour and mix thoroughly. Fold in the nuts into the brownie batter and set aside. Grease a baking pan and pour the batter in it. Bake the brownie in a 350 degrees F preheated oven for thirty minutes. Once this is done, take it out of the oven and let it cool before using.

Ingredients
  • 1¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 4 extra large egg whites
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • ⅛ teaspoon cream of tartar
  • ⅛ teaspoon baking powder
  • 14 graham cracker squares, broken into ½ pieces
  • 8 ounces whipping cream
  • 8 ounces pecan pieces
  • Chopped pecans, for garnish
Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, take egg whites as well as baking powder and beat them together. This should be followed by the cream of tartar and a cup of sugar. Beat till all the ingredients are fully mixed. Pour this batter in a greased baking dish and bake for 30 minutes in a 300 degrees F preheated oven.
