Banana and Oats Surprise
This recipe can be perfect for babies within the age group of four to six months. It is easy to prepare and can be a great way to introduce your baby to solid food groups.
Ingredients:
Ground Oats – ¼ cup
Water – ¾ cup
Mashed banana – 1 tablespoon
Preparations
Ground the oats in the blender or mixer. Boil the oats in water using a clean pan. Make sure you stir constantly and simmer the mixture for around ten minutes. Allow the oats to cool down to room temperature and add the mashed bananas. You can also add in some formula or mother’s milk if you want to.
Baby’s Lentil Veggie Rice Delight
This recipe can be perfect for babies in the age group of eight to ten months. The lentils are a great source of protein; the rice provides the carbs and the essential minerals whereas the carrots and beans are rich sources of essential vitamins.
Ingredients
Rice - 100 gram
Lentils –50 gram
Carrot - 1
Beans – 8-10
Preparations
First of all your need to wash the carrots and beans in hot water to ensure they are free of any external impurities. Similarly wash the rice and lentils quickly in water. Add the veggies, the rice and the lentils in a clean utensil and cook for about ten minutes. Ensure that the rice, lentils as well as the veggies are thoroughly cooked. Once the ingredients are cooked adequately, use a blender to make a mashed puree of the ingredients. Add a minute pinch of salt and mix thoroughly.
