Sun, rain, wind, environmental pollution, harsh chemicals, coloring, ironing, etc. are all responsible for dry hair. There are many commercial haircare products for dry hair available in the market, which are expensive. But fret not; with the home remedies for dry hair, we will undo the damage done to your hair.

Best Home Remedies for Dry Hair
If your hair is thick near the roots but thins down at the ends, it is a sign of dry and damaged hair. Dry hair needs maximum amount of care, as it is fragile and can break easily. You should not give any kind of heat treatment to your hair. The heat will cause it to become more brittle and break.

Coconut Oil Treatment: The first of the home remedies for dry damaged hair is massaging your hair with warm coconut oil. To get the maximum benefits, add crushed almonds to coconut oil and warm this mixture. After the mixture is lukewarm apply it to your hair, starting at the root and moving downwards. Then start massaging your scalp. Take a towel and dip it in warm water, squeeze out the water from the towel and wrap your hair with the towel. After the towel cools down, repeat this just once. This dry hair care remedy will help in moisturizing your dry hair.

The other oil home remedy is to add curry leaves to coconut water and boil it for 10 minutes. After the mixture settles down, you can use this oil regularly to massage your scalp. It will nourish your hair, which will not be dry any more.

You can shampoo after an hour, but you will get the best results if you leave the oil overnight. At night, the scalp and skin repair damage. Hence, leaving the oil overnight is best for dry haircare.

Honey Home Remedy for Dry Damaged Hair: Honey is applied to dry hair. Apply it to the length of the hair and leave it on for 20-30 minutes and then shampoo your hair. However, it is not advisable to apply honey often as it can result in gray hair.

Banana Pack Treatment: The next of the home remedies for dry hair is the banana hair pack. Take two ripe bananas, mash them, and add curd. Apply this mixture to the length of the hair, starting from the scalp and moving downwards. Cover your hair with a shower cap for 20 minutes and then wash your hair. There will be a visible change in the texture of your hair.

Egg Remedy: Egg is the best of the home remedies for dry damaged hair. Most of the hair products for dry hair contain eggs. There are many home remedies with eggs, although I have given just a couple of them.

Take yogurt in a bowl, beat an egg in it, add the juice of one lemon, and add coconut oil. Mix this mixture well and apply it to your hair. Ideally, it should be left on the hair for an hour and a half. Avoid shampooing your hair; just rinse it with warm water.

The next remedy is here. Beat an egg with one tablespoon of water. The beaten mixture should have a creamy texture. First wet your hair, preferably with warm water. Take care so that the hair does not have excess water in it. Now apply this mixture in circular motion to your scalp. Do not forget to apply it to your hair tips as well. After 10-15 minutes, you can wash your hair with cold water.

Beer Remedy: Applying beer to the hair makes it shiny. Therefore, you will find it as an ingredient in black hair products for dry hair. You can pour beer in a spray-bottle. After washing and drying your hair, spray beer on it. The beer will not smell after some time, but it will most certainly leave your hair with sheen and shine. You should try this remedy especially if you are going to blow dry your hair.
