Home Remedies For Acne

Each and everyday thousands of acne sufferers are searching for those effective home remedies for acne, I'm guessing you're one of them. You have probably bought ever over-the-counter acne product there is, and although that product promises you everything within a few weeks, it fails to come through on it's promise. Stop right there, you'll never have to buy another over-the-counter product ever again. Because home remedies are not only effective, but they're cheap aswell just consisting of most household ingredients.

First of all these are the home remedies that I have personally tried, and highly recommend (everyones skin is different so, remedies that worked for me, may not work for you);

#1 Orange and Lemon Juice. This worked the best for me. What you do is squeeze either an orange or a lemon to extract the juice. Then apply the juice to the acne areas, leave on for around 30 minutes then simply wash off gently with warm water.

#2 Fresh garlic also worked very well, although I didn't carry on using this effective remedy as I dislike the smell! All you do is rub fresh garlic onto your acne 4 times a day. Repeat every day for two weeks, and if you see an improvement carry on using this effective home remedy.

Now I havn't tried these home remedies below, but I've heard people getting great results with them;

#3 I read on a popular acne forum that cooking oatmeal, applying it to the acne infected areas and then washing off after 10 minutes is a really good home remedy. Now my first thought upon reading this was how stupid! But after seeing more and more reviews about this home remedy, I'm convinced that it is now an effective remedy!

#4 Potatos! What you do is slice a raw potato in half, then rub the flat edge of the potato on the acne areas. Apprently the vitamins in the potato helps get rid of redness and improve your complexion, while the alkaline helps break down the oil in the pores.
