Home Gym Workout - The Top Home Workout Program Exercises

If you're thinking about creating a home gym workout, there are a few exercises that will be really beneficial to keep in mind since these will help you get the best results from your workout program.
Creating a home gym program doesn't need to be a challenge provided you are adding the right mix of exercises that will allow you to reach your goals.

Far too many people are doing all the wrong movements with their home workout program, which is why they don't see results.

Here are the top exercises that you absolutely must include if you want to see great results.

Step Ups

Since it's unlikely that you're going to have access to a full squat rack for squats, you can instead opt to use a barbell across your back and perform step-ups instead.

Step-ups will work well because they will target the quads, hamstrings, and glutes - all the main muscles in the lower body that will build muscle and keep you toned.

Additionally, this exercise will also burn a very high number of calories, making it a fantastic addition to your home gym workout.

Push-Ups

The second exercise to include is push-ups. Again, unless you have a bench press it can get difficult to work the chest muscle, so push-ups will work this muscle as well as the triceps.

You can do a lot of variations with this exercise as well, which makes it considerably easier to increase the intensity so you're still getting a good workout.

If you really want, consider also adding some weight on your back to up the intensity further if you need a challenge.

Finally, the last exercise you should add to your home gym workout is bent over rows. These are really good for working the back and biceps since they are a compound exercise.

You can perform them with either a set of dumbbells or a barbell, giving you plenty of options as far as equipment is concerned.

So, be sure you keep these exercises in mind. Adding them amongst the others you do will help guarantee you're getting results if you make the commitment to perform the workout regularly.
