Holding On To Nothing
I've known this person forever... and we know each other so well... although lately, it's like we're strangers to each other. What happened? PLEASE COMMENT. =)
Every time we speak,
It feels like another piece has fallen,
Right out of my heart.
You are everything,
You're MINE.
No matter what happens,
You'll always be here, in my mind.
But I don't want this to end,
How can I make you stay?
It's like we walk on eggshells,
Avoiding things, keeping secrets at bay.
Where are you when I need you?
How can I fix this? What can I do?
We stay here,
No able to go on,
Not able to go back.
We are the same yet unalike,
They say opposites attract,
Is this the case with you and I?
I need you, I don't want you to go...
You are the world to me,
Don't you know?
I cannot go on without you beside me.
At least, not happily.
