His Wings
That's actually gonna be a story, but probably not one I'm gonna post.
I have seen his wings,
Beautiful, golden bright,
Like the beginning of a new day,
The first of the morning light.
His arms have engulfed me,
And brought me to a world,
Where he's the only one beside me,
Where's his wings could be unfurled.
I fell for his eyes,
For his beautiful smile,
He brought me higher and higher,
Made me want to stay awhile.
When I thought he couldn't be more perfect,
He proved me wrong,
He shifted his attitude,
Showed me what had been hidden for so long.
He made the sky go dark,
And showed me a world of pain,
His smile was no longer warm,
It turned the sunlight to rain.
He took what he wanted,
He made me forgot things,
He held me in his arms,
And I saw his real wings.
Black as midnight,
They made me feel so small,
And with one last smile,
He opened his arms and let me fall.
Beautiful, golden bright,
Like the beginning of a new day,
The first of the morning light.
His arms have engulfed me,
And brought me to a world,
Where he's the only one beside me,
Where's his wings could be unfurled.
I fell for his eyes,
For his beautiful smile,
He brought me higher and higher,
Made me want to stay awhile.
When I thought he couldn't be more perfect,
He proved me wrong,
He shifted his attitude,
Showed me what had been hidden for so long.
He made the sky go dark,
And showed me a world of pain,
His smile was no longer warm,

He made me forgot things,

And I saw his real wings.

And with one last smile,
He opened his arms and let me fall.
